A warm welcome awaits you at our Swedish design home which is situated at the entrance to Glenrigh Forest, where husband has recently retired as a Ranger with the Forestry Commission. We will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Gaelic is spoken.
The house is centrally heated with wash hand basins in bedrooms. Lounge with colour TV, dining room. Wholesome meals with own garden produce. Forest walks and trails and hill climbing nearby. Well positioned between Fort William and Oban.
Situated on the family croft in an elevated position over looking Locheil and the Ardgour hills. Our five acre croft has been in the family for four generations. We have common grazing for blackface sheep. On the picturesque road to the Isles in Bonnie Prince Charlie’s country. Only 30 miles to the Skye ferry.
Guests are assured of the highest standard of hospitality and good home cooked meals. Our spacious well appointed ground floor bedrooms all have electric blankets, clock radios and hair dryers. TV lounge and conservatory with beautiful view over Locheil and Ben Nevis. We are non smoking except for the conservatory. We also run the local Post Office.

All the rooms are ensuite with panoramic views and plenty of space. There is also a choice of breakfast from the traditional cooked to our own speciality...which is a secret. We are very knowledgeable for what there is to see & do in the area and we can help with canoe and bike hire for those wishing to be more active and to enjoy all the adventure activities that this area offers.

A warm welcome awaits you on this working farm where we breed Highland Cattle. The farmhouse is new and offers all the facilities that you would expect from a 4 star bed & breakfast. All the rooms are attractively decorated and there is a sitting room with a balcony available for guests. This is an ideal base from which to explore the West of Scotland including the Isle of Mull. We are only 20 minutes from the ferry terminal. We also have a private beach (shingle) which is only 5 minutes walk from the beach.
Our 18th century farm steading looks south west onto the islands of Jura and Scarba and on the northern hemisphere’s largest whirlpool, the Corrievrechan. This 5,000 acre working farm holds one half of the Kilmartin Glen in an area described as “Scotland’s richest archaeological landscape”.
Your farmer is a trained chef and dinners, where possible, employ local game and seafood. Salmon fishing, deer stalking and rough shooting are available on the farm. Local interests include boat charter, golf, trail riding and forest walk.
The focal point of the farm is Duntrune Castle; the oldest, continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and home to Clan Malcolm/Macallum. The gardens are beautifully preserved and open to visitors all year round.
Our 2000 acre sheep farm carries a flock of Blackface sheep and a herd of cows and calves. As well as a cow hand-milked there is poultry to feed and two ponies run in the fields around the farm.
We are an ideal area for hill walking, boat trips, bird watching and fishing, and are four miles from the White Sands at Calgary Bay.
Farmhouse only a two hour drive and then a five minute ferry crossing takes you to the historic island of Iona, the birth place of Scottish christianity.
A warm welcome is assured at our 620 acre family farm where we have a dairy herd of Fresians and a flock of Blackface sheep. Our modern farmhouse offers all home comforts, and in the evening a peat fire burns in the lounge. Private parking Good traditional Scottish cooking. From our windows you have magnificent views towards the Paps of Jura and the coast of Ireland. Fishing can be arranged locally, and bird watching very popular. The local hotels run ceilidhs and you must also visit one of our many Distilleries while on Islay.
