Edinburgh airport accesible in 25 minutes. Ideal touring base for Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling which can be reached within 40 minutes and St. Andrew and Glasgow 1 hour.
Set amongst 600 acres of farmland and with spectacular views over Strathearn, we welcome you to our Georgian/Victorian Farmhouse. Very peaceful and relaxing accommodation provided, with all meals taken in our large cosy farmhouse kitchen. Fine Scottish Cuisine is prepared by myself, a trained Cordon Bleu Chef, using local ingredients and when possible fruit and vegetables from the garden. Dinner is highly recommended by our guests. Ideally situated for numerous golf courses, fishing, hill walking and places of historic note.
We also have facilities on the ground floor for less able-bodied guests - STB Category 1 graded room.
Guests will enjoy a friendly atmosphere, a warm welcome, good home cooking and a high standard of comfortable accommodation at our family run working farm, which has a panoramic view over Rescobie Loch. Our 300 acre stock farm carries a suckler herd of beef cattle and a flock of pedigree charollais sheep. Two bedrooms with en suite facilities. Coal fire in lounge. This is an ideal base for hillwalkers, horse riders, fishers and golfers with Carnoustie just 20 minutes away. For those interested in history there are many Castles and Historic Houses to be visited, while for the youngsters there are sandy beaches just a few miles away.

National Trust and Historic Scotland properties nearby including Edzell and Dunnottar castles and Glamis Castle only 15 minutes away. Royal Deeside, Aberdeen, St. Andrews and Perth all under an hour’s drive with Edinburgh a day trip away.

Welcome to our family run farm, with beautiful views, stretching towards the Sidlaw Hills. Seed potatoes, malting barley and breeding sheep are produced, with lambs to feed in spring time. Guests enjoy a relaxing holiday in a friendly atmosphere, where good farmhouse meals are served. Lounge has coal fire and colour television and all beds have electric blankets.
